After work we watch Days of our Lives. More fallout from Lucas seeing Sami and EJ.

 

We finish my night with Monsieur Verdoux. Charlie Chaplin stars as a man who murders his wives for a living. It was a little better than average. 2 ½ stars.

 

I then call my Mom. James and I are planning a 40^th anniversary party for my parents and we get the names of some people to invite. They are planning to come up tomorrow. My Dad bought my Mom a new ring and they are coming down to pick it up. I call them back because I forgot to tell them something and speak to my Dad briefly. Unbeknownst to me at the time, it would be the last time I ever get to hear his voice.

 My Dad died on Friday. It was just a couple of weeks shy of my parents 40^th anniversary. It is now Thursday of the next week. I posted all of these in remembrance of my Father Keith Kruse. He enjoyed reading my blog. I don’t know when I am going to able to post again. If/when I do I will try to let anyone know what happened. It still feels like a bad dream.

I got off work a little late and race to Rainbow.

 

Get home and then we go to Target, we pick up Scooby/Richie Rich dvd set. We stop at Toys R Us on the way home.

 

Get home and watch Days of our Lives. Lucas catches Sami and EJ in bed.

 

Next up is David Letterman with Harrison Ford talking up the new Indiana Jones movie.

 

Reaper is next. Andy learns Sam’s secret. The devil lets him tell her only for a favor.

 

Big Bang Theory season finale is next. Leonard asks Penny out. She says yes. Sheldon meanwhile learns mandarin to confront a Chinese restaurant about serving orange chicken when they are supposed to be selling tangerine chicken. Funny stuff.

John Adams part 7 is next. John’s daughter has breast cancer and they show the surgery. This is the final episode that goes to his death.

 

We next watch Days of our Lives. Nothing happened.

 

Tudors from 3 weeks ago is next. Ann has a miscarriage. Thomas Moore is tried for treason.

 

How I Met Your Mother season finale is next. Ted and then Barney get hit by vehicles. Ted proposes to Stella.

Next up is Saturday Night Live with host Steve Carrell. I thought parts were funny, but as usual SNL’s skits run about 3 minutes too long. John McCain is hilarious though.

Big Bang Theory is next. The guys plan a surprise birthday party for Leonard who has never had a birthday party before.

 

We head to softball practice. We then go to Target.

 

We get home and watch John Adams part 4. John quits his ambassadorship and is elected Vice President. Which he initially considers and insult.

 

I shower.

 

We next watch part of Free Enterprise.

 

John Adams part 5 is next. John’s Vice Presidency is covered.

 

John Adams part 6. John Adams is elected President and is attacked from all sides including former friends.

Get up and Angie and I walk to ace to get some stuff to fix the push mower. Get home and fix the mower and mow the lawn. Get done and shower.

 

We watch the David Letterman Battlestar Galactica top 10 countdown.

 

Watch John Adams part 1 & 2 it starts in 1770 and goes up to the Declaration of Independence in these 2 episodes.

 

Days of our Lives from Friday. Victor throws a fit when he sees Chloe. Kayla is having her baby.

 

John Adams part 3 is next. Adams is sent to France and becomes ill.

 

We next watch Pennies from Heaven. Fred Astaire stars as a singer imprisoned on a false charge meets an inmate on death row. The inmate tells the singer that to atone for the murder for which he is to be executed, he is leaving his family estate to the relatives of the man he killed, and asks the singer that when he gets out, to help the family move into their new home. It was actually pretty funny in parts, but kind of boring. 2 stars.

 

Dancing Lady is next. Joan Crawford plays an aspiring dancer, Clark Gable plays the musical’s director. The Three Stooges play stage hands and Fred Astaire makes his motion picture debut. A little above average. 2 1/2 stars.

 

Reaper from 4 weeks ago is next. The two gay demons plot to overthrow the devil. Sam is caught in the middle.

Get home watch Jimmy Kimmel Live. Josh Holloway is the guest we watch.

 

I head to bed.

After work we go to Target and the mall to walk since it is raining.

 

Days of our Lives is next. EJ is working on getting Lucas out of jail. Kayla goes into labor. Ava turns on her dad.

 

How I Met Your Mother is next. Britney is back and killing the episode. She is so terrible.

 

The Office season finale is next. Toby’s last day and Michael is esctatic.

 

Lost is how we finish the night. This one was for the fans of the whole series. So much going on it’s crazy.
