Faux 'Battle of the Bands' to benefit the Chris Larson Fix a Heart Fund; Bands will rock out on Rock Band video game

'Fake Rock for a Real Cause'

Acxiom employees have shed their 9-to-5 office wear, grabbed plastic guitars and microphones and will rock out to raise money to benefit the Chris Larson Fix a Heart Fund. Bands using the game "Rock Band" will play hit songs from the 1970s to today.

WHEN: Saturday, May 31, 1 pm

WHERE: Red Oak Shelter at the Garfield Metroparks, Garfield Heights, Ohio

WHAT: Event will feature family friendly games and activities and a raffle; cookout-style meal with hamburgers, chips, soda (or pop!)

Tickets are $8 for adults, $4 for children 5-12, children under 5 are admitted free

THANK YOU!! More than $3,400 raised at Feb. 10th fundraiser

More than 150 generous people braved sub-zero temps on Sunday, Feb. 10th to attend the Chris Larson Fix A Heart Fundraiser at the Elyria Family Moose Lodge.

Through a bake sale, ticket sales, auction and raffle, more than $3,400 was raised! It was a fantastic event that was topped off by great food. A HUGE thanks to all volunteers who took spent several hours Sunday (and many other hours) working toward making this event a success.
