It’s already December and my common sense tells me that a lot of Friendster and Myspace users will start searching for a Christmas theme, skins or layout for their accounts. So, to help them find what they are looking for, I’m compiling here a list of sites that give free Christmas themes, skins or layouts.
If you own a site that offers Christmas Friendster Themes or Christmas Myspace Themes and you want it to be added on the list, just comment below and I’ll update it. Furthermore, if you have a post about the same topic and want to exchange links with me on this post, link me first and I’ll link back as soon as I see it.
With the advancement of technology, people can now share movies and television shows online via live streaming. You can now watch shows live online.
And for the Dream Match, do you think someone will be courageous enough to share his PPV subscription online via live streaming video? Well, they’ve always done that.
Here’s the list of links of different sites that will probably show a live streaming video of the Pacquiao - De La Hoya fight. I got this list from this Pacland forum thread.
I think, this week, I’ll be blogging more about the Pacquiao - De La Hoya fight. Bear with me because I’m really looking forward to see this Dream Match. What am I to blog if all I read and watch online now are all about this upcoming fight?
The Pacquiao De La Hoya 24/7 Episode 3 was aired already. Searching for the video is a little bit hard because the uploaded streaming videos were removed already.
Until I finally found one link that works. If you were not able to watch it yet, go and visit this site to watch it. It has no embed code, so, all I can do is link to them. The video quality is good, you just need a fast internet connection.
The site contains the Dish Network’s Pacquiao DeLa Hoya Countdown video and the episode 3 of HBO’s 24/7 Pacquiao De La Hoya Special.
Ratified.org interviewed me last October. The interview is all about blog growth. According to them, this blog ranked sixth on their list of their Philippines Top 100 blogs. Ms. Janette Toral sent me the questions via e-mail and I sent her my answers. You can read the interview here.
Last Friday, Mike Lopez interviewed me about making money on Adsense. We basically talked about how I make money from it, how do I optimize my post, how do I get those visitors and how do I get a high CTR.
Just a note that I had two blogs before making money for me, but now, only macuha.com makes money for me. My text messages blog is now being managed by my wife, and so all the Google Adsense codes there are not mine anymore. Don’t be surprised when you read from that interview that I’m making money from just one blog, because that’s the truth. Read the interview here.
Filipino celebrities don’t twit or plurk because they have a better option, and that is the Celebrity KText. A fan subscribes to their favorite celebrity via their mobile phone. For each message a celebrity sends to a subscriber, the subscriber is billed Php2.50. Imagine how profitable this is to a celebrity.
I’ve heard that Kris Aquino has at least 33000 KText subscribers. That means that every time Kris Aquino sends a KText message, all those 33000 subscribers will receive it and will be billed Php2.50 each. Of course, Kris Aquino will not get 100% of that Php 2.50. Just imagine that Kris Aquino only gets 10% of that Php 2.50. That’s Php 0.25 for each subscriber. With 33000 subscribers, she’s putting Php8250 on her wallet for every update.
Imagine if she sends 3 KText updates per day. That’s the maximum KText message per day allowed to them. How much will she earn in a month? That’s 3 messages x Php 0.25 x 33000 subscriber x 30 days = Php 742000. Wow! That’s a lot of money. And we are still using a conservative 10% commission. Imagine if it’s more than that.
Now, we are only talking about Kris Aquino. Imagine Angel Locsin, Bea Alonzo, Sam Milby and Piolo Pascual. I’m sure, they have a lot more subscribers.
Kaya minsan, gusto ko na rin mag-artista. LOL! Can’t we have a Blogger KText? Send MACUHA.COM ON TO 2366. May magsubscribe kaya? LOL!
I’ve been playing with a Nokia N78 for the past 3 weeks already, thanks to the people at WOM World Nokia for sending me a test unit. Yeah, this is just a test unit and I will send it back to them after this review.
So, what’s my experience with a Nokia N78? Will I buy it if I have the money? My answer is NO. Why? Well, because I’m a person who uses text messaging a lot and their keypad is one of the worst-designed keypad for texting. A person with big fingers will find it hard hitting the right keys with this unit. I have this unit for already 3 weeks and I still find it difficult when texting.
Nokia N78 Front
However, it is actually feature-packed. It has 3G, EDGE, HSCSD, GPRS, WLAN, Bluetooth and USB support. It has a microSD slot. It has a 3MP camera with Carl Zeiss optics. It has good picture quality. It has stereo speakers and plays as loud as my laptop speakers.
Nokia N78 Back
The best feature in it that I will look for if I’m going to buy a new phone is the FM transmitter. Select an FM frequency on the phone, activate it, play your favorite music, set your car stereo to the same FM frequency, and boom! your car stereo starts playing the music! Loud and clear, in stereo sound. Can your Nokia N95 do that? I don’t think so!
Nokia N78 Side
I think, the keypad is the only turn-off for me. But if I could find a unit with the same features as the Nokia N78 but with a better keypad, I’ll grab one.
That’s all for my review.
P.S. If you want me to review your product, contact me for my mailing address. I’d appreciate if you’ll just give the product to me for free. Hehehe.
What are the chances that two motorcycles will collide in a not-so-busy road in the middle of the night? Slim. Right? But when it happens, it’s a disaster!
Broken bones, big wounds, scratches on face. That’s what my cousin got after the accident. And of course, large hospital bills. He’s still in the hospital, under observation. Hopefully, he’ll get well soon.
Lessons learned. Stay safe. Drive safely. Wear helmet. And pray before you go anywhere else because sh*t happens when least expected. Just stay at home and learn to make money online.
Now, Pinoy Hangaroo is one of my most visited pages. Traffic mostly came from referrals rather than search engines. Plurkers talk about it here, here and here. Stumbleupon users liked it. Bloggers blog about it here, here, here, here and here.
Now, did I earn anything from it? Actually, the CTR is very low, because most people just come, play for hours, and go. Just an additional 50 cents per day on that page. That’s still $15 in one month. Not bad for a 2-hour work I spent modifying its database and a little bit of elementary HTML coding.
Pinoy Hangaroo gets harder everyday because I add new categories everyday. It has already 1000+ words in its database, and growing. If you want to suggest a new category, or report an error or wrong spelling, feel free to contact me.
They already aired the episode 1 of HBO 24/7 featuring the upcoming Pacquiao - De La Hoya Fight. I can’t find someone uploading it on Youtube. But I’m lucky I found it on some other place. And it has an embed code. So, here it is, the Pacquiao - De La Hoya HBO 24/7 video, episode 1.
HBO 24/7 will feature the upcoming fight of Manny Pacquiao and Oscar De La Hoya starting Nov 16.
This HBO Sports series counts down to the highly anticipated December 6 pay-per-view bout between Oscar De La Hoya (39-5, 30 KOs) and Manny Pacquiao (47-3-2, 35 KOs). In this episode, cameras follow both camps as De La Hoya and Pacquiao travel from the opening press conference at the Statue of Liberty to downtown L.A. on a six-city tour to publicize the fight. {Source}
Here is their teaser video.

And since I don’t have access to HBO Sports on my cable subscription, I’ll just wait for someone to upload the entire episode on Youtube. Hehe.
