This auction is for a Rane Ge 215. The Rane GE 215 is a dual-channel, 15-band, 2/3-octave graphic equalizer. It features +12/-15 dB boost/cut range on 45 mm filter slider controls. The unit is rack spaces high and only inches deep. The active filter sections feature Ranes innovative constant-Q (constant bandwidth) design. This means the bandwidth of each individual filter is guaranteed to be narrow enough to prevent unwarranted interaction between filters, yet wide enough to produce exactly the type of correction curve demanded by even the most unusual acoustic surroundings. This differs dramatically from conventional designs of the past, encumbered with the unfortunate characteristic of changing bandwidth when changing boost/cut amounts. Front panel controls and indicators, aside from the sliders, include an overall Level control for each channel as well as Overload indicators. Bypass switches allow direct comparison between the equalized and non-equalized signal for each channel. The rear of the unit provides both XLR and easy Euroblock terminal connectors for each of the fully active balanced Inputs and Outputs. Up for sale here is one kick ass 15 bass speaker. This is the super heavy McCauley 6142. In case youre not familiar with the McCauley name. Youll probably find them in more pro concert stadium PA systems than JBL and EV added together. They became famous because they are so damn hard to break. This one has just been completely rebuilt and reconed. Every last moving part, inside and out, has been replaced with brand spanking new. The magnet gap has been thoroughly cleaned and deoxidized and a new voice coil precision installed. Spider, surround, tinsel leads, cone and cap are all new. It has never been played except for the customary bench test. Up for sale here is one 15 bass speaker. This is the ever popular JBL 2225H. JBL is probably in more pro concert stadium PA systems than any other brand. They became famous because they are so damn hard to break. This one has just been completely rebuilt and reconed. (Okay, older cones do tend to get fatigued so, I decided to make it new again.) Every last moving part, inside and out, has been replaced with brand spanking new. The magnet gap has been thoroughly cleaned and deoxidized and a new voice coil precision installed. Spider, surround, tinsel leads, cone and cap are all new. It has never been played except for the customary bench test. (I suppose that means it is almost the same as a new one.) (This speaker was originally a model which means it was 16 Ohms. This is an EV (Electro Voice) hand held dynamic microphone. It is a standard low impedance mic which uses XLR type cable connector and does not require any phantom power. It has a cardioid pickup pattern. It is not very old and has only been used once in my home studio. I kept it in the mic cabinet so it still in superb condition.
