Comic Russell Brand remained sober at a recent club launch in LA while his pals had one too many.
The 34-year-old British funnyman has previously been known for his partying ways but at the launch of LA club Soho House, he was one of the only partygoers in his group staying away from booze.
A source said to UK newspaper Daily Mirror: “Russ was in hysterics when Jason and Guy were so tipsy they almost fell out of their Bentley and tried to get into the wrong entrance of Soho House.”

Dannii Minogue’s boyfriend Kris Smith dismissed Sharon Osbourne’s comments about the X-Factor judge.
In a rant, Osbourne lashed out at Minogue as “useless” at the judge’s table she shares with Simon Cowell and Cheryl Cole.
Smith, a UK rugby star turned Australia-based model, said of Osbourne:”She just seems all class that Sharon, doesn’t she? All class, a class act. I have nothing to say to her because I wouldn’t fall down that low.”

At around 2AM on Sunday morning, R&B singer D’Angelo was arrested in the West Village of Manhattan by an undercover policewoman after he mistook her for a prostitute and offered her $40 for oral sex. Oscar-winning actress Mo’Nique revealed she had a major wardrobe malfunction just hours before the ceremony.
The star, who picked up the Best Supporting Actress gong for her role in Precious, revealed to E! that just before the start of the 82nd Academy Awards she had a fashion disaster.
The actress said: “I had a wardrobe malfunction! It happened while I was getting dressed.”
Mo’Nique wouldn’t go in to details but laughed about the incident, which saw her change into the blue Tadashi Shoji dress.

Ben Stiller made sure the Film Independent Spirit Awards ended with a bang – by bringing “porn stars” on stage to simulate sex while he handed out the last gong.

Jon Gosselin has turned down an offer from Playgirl magazine, according to a US report.
The troubled reality television star was approached with an offer to pose that reportedly was worth $20,000, RadarOnline reports exclusively.
The magazine recently snared Levi Johnston, the ex-lover of Bristol Palin and father of her lovechild, Tripp. But Gosselin, a family man and father of eight, will not be taking Johnston’s lead, the report claims.

Fiery Naomi Campbell allegedly hit her chauffeur on the head with a mobile phone – the same ‘weapon’ she used in two previous attacks.
The supermodel allegedly first kicked her driver after he refused to say whether or not her ex-boyfriend Vlad Doronin had cheated on her.
When driver Miodrag Mejdina tried to call 911, Campbell allegedly grabbed his phone and hit him so hard, his head bounced off the steering wheel, according to the New York Post.
It would be the third time Campbell, 39, used a phone in attacks on her staff. In 2005, she beat her assistant on the head with a BlackBerry, and in 2006 she injured her housekeeper with a phone she threw across a room.
After the latest alleged attack, driver Mejdina, 27, pulled over and summoned a New York cop, but by the time they returned to the car, Campbell was gone.
Police initially said they were searching for the supermodel – but Mejdina then declined to press charges.

Dewan, 29, tied the knot with the GI Joe star last July, and admitted that keeping house does not come naturally to her.
