Hehe ... I've got a secret, I've got a secret ...
I'm not allowed to tell about it though until a certain someone else manages to get all their notifications accomplished today.
I'll just say it's a very very happy 'something'!
I will post just as soon as I know I'm allowed.
Glory to God! ...
Just experienced another one of those splendid divine appointments here in my shop/ministry office!
I'm quite curious in how this proceeds.
I so love when Father does this!
Ooooo ... maybe? maybe?
Just checked AccuWeather for an update ...
Now they're including snow for *both* Saturday and Sunday, the 22nd and the 23rd!!! Even actually sounds a little more promising this time around ...
Saturday, Nov 22nd: Cold with snow at times Low: 24 °F High: 40 °F Sunday, Nov 23rd: Cold with periods of snow Low: 24 °F High: 41 °F And after that, a mix of clouds and sun with the temps' staying between a High of 40 degrees and a Low of 23 degrees all the way through to Thanksgiving!
Might we have a *white* Thanksgiving this year?! How cool that would be!
Today is Tom's day off from work. We're going over to our son's house later this afternoon/evening to do a group effort in splitting some more firewood for them and us and have dinner there. I'm very much looking forward to this. Our son's been doing a lot of remodeling around their house getting ready for my 5th grandchild to arrive! Baby's due date is next Thursday, a week from now. But of course the baby could come anytime now. Especially if you look at of my 3 children, 2 were early ... our son was 3 weeks early and my oldest daughter was 6 weeks early (back then, that was something to be somewhat concerned about; not such nowdays I guess). My youngest daughter was a day late. I'm not sure how this was on his wife's family side. We're all just awaiting now.
Plus, along the way, I get to stop and pick up a magnifying lamp that a lady is giving me off FreeCycle. I've been wanting one of these for good while now for my drawing table and also to help sometimes with my making some of my herbal crafts and the like. But especially for my drawing table.
Then tomorrow, Tom and I are planning to hangout here doing stuff and hunting awhile outback together while we also setup our stands and such for he opening of deer season which opens the Monday after Thanksgiving.
Looking to be a good weekend here (our weekends are Thursdays and Fridays).
So, we'll see on this one ...
The weather people are now saying that Sunday, Nov 23rd will be "Cold with snow" and then again 3 days later on the 26th "Cloudy with a bit of snow".
Note to Weather people: Okay guys, I appreciate how you've been mentioning the possibility of early hints of snow here and there since last month. It's nice that you were even 'right' on those calls for just about everybody around us ... it snowed a bit at my son's house which is just over the ridge from us here ... it snowed a fair amount over at where my husband works too. But HEY! I want to see some too ... HERE! Something more than just a little drizzle trying to freeze up.
In other news ... I'm pretty well certain I have *at least* 5 goat does expecting with the strong possibly up to 3 more. At the bare minimum then, this carries the probability of any where from 5 to up to 20 new 'kids' running around here. A fair *normal* average with these 5 does alone would be - judging by past kidding, the breeds and individual tendencies - upwards of 10 kids easy.
Hmmmm ..... New Year's +/- is looking like it's going to get pretty interesting around here.
Note to self: get that baby-monitor either fixed or replaced soon!
The newest addition ...
October 16th, Tom and I were out running some errands since it was his day off work. We were down on Rt 30 in the southern portion of the county when I told Tom ... Hey, that was a kitten! How I ever recognized this little itty bitty gray spot lying right on the side white line of Rt 30 (a very much traveled at not so slow speeds major road in this area), I'll never know. Tom's still amazed I picked her out and could even tell what she was. He was driving and just thought it was "another rock" or the like laying along the roadway. Well, when I told him that I'd seen a tiny little kitten lying on the white line, he immediately turned the car around and we went back to check it out. I jumped out of the car running over to the little thing that was *literally* scared-stiff ... I do mean she was like "frozen" with all those cars and whatever driving right by her at those speeds! I had to wait for a couple more cars to go passed before I could get to her relatively safely. But I ran over and scooped her up and ran back to the car with her. I can't even begin to imagine the 'why' or 'how' she was where she was. Very possibily someone did one of those "drop-offs". Anyway, I put her in the car, holding her down by my feet at first till I could examine her a bit and she could get her senses about her. Here, either she did it somehow or something got at her one back leg because it was ripped open fairly bad. It basically ran from her foot all the way back up to what some might call her "knee". A nasty gash! Well, we brought her home and I did my best to doctor her up.

Tom started out saying about how if I could get her fixed up, we'll let her roam and play outdoors with our other two outside barn cats. All the while though, he knew better. She instantly became our new family member.
Look at her now ...

This now makes Tom & me, 3 Dobie girls and 6 cats inside this old farmhouse!
And, btw, her name is "Hobo". All I have to do is say "Hobo" now and she comes running to me with instant purrs!
This makes my #2 ...
What did Tom and I do Friday evening?
This is a picture of a mouse our son had picked out for me several years ago. I loved it so much it's now on my arm ... the mouse representing my old nickname and the pencil is for both my drawing and writing interests.
Some good thoughts about post-election time ...

Understanding the Psychology of Post-Election Distress Syndrome By Dwight Bain, Nationally Certified Counselor
A major election leads to major change—psychologically, that is. No matter who wins an election, the unexpected emotional let down or explosive reaction after the ballots are counted can be overwhelming to many, especially the aged or over-involved who can be set up for crushing amounts of what I call P.E.D.S. or Post-Election Distress Syndrome.
This election has likely been the most stressful of any during our lifetime because of numbing news fatigue and continual media over-exposure, yet the real problems are yet to come. Personal anxiety, professional panic and poorly thought out decisions are on the horizon regardless of your political persuasion.
Why such a gloomy projection?
It's based on how this election process has been so overwhelming much of the time with months of negative news, never ending data to process and confusing choices to make on complex issues while partisan experts are shouting every half-hour on news/talk stations that we are all doomed if their candidate doesn't win. Not to mention the huge challenge on who is trust-worthy, since you often don't know who will say something inappropriate on YouTube and crash their credibility, leaving you feeling very alone to make some major decisions without leaders who lacked the strength of character to stand on their convictions instead of popular opinion polls.
Mountain top experiences guarantee the next step is always the valley
Think of a major campaign like climbing a major mountain range. You prepare for years and climb for months to finally reach the top. Once there the view is great. You take some pictures, but you can't stay on a mountain top, so no matter which way you head, it's down in any direction. After the mountain top comes the valley, which is a normal part of life. The danger is that for many people the downward slide is so unexpected. Most actual mountain climbing accidents happen on the way down, and I project that there will be millions of people who are unprepared for the emotional upheaval they are about to experience after the election is over.
Everyone will feel some degree of emotional let down once the issues have been decided and the acceptance speeches are given. That's normal, however for some the removal of posters, signs, balloons and banners will lead to a free fall of depressing emotions. If someone has been a 'news junkie' the last few months it will be especially stressful. Those feelings of distress will come out in one of two ways.
Two possible reactions to post-election distress
1) Anger – Which can lead to violence and impulsive decisions. People who feel violated by the election process will often turn to dumping volcanic levels of anger at someone or something to find relief for the pressure inside. This can lead to devastating decisions, impulsive rage or using the wrong words in front of the wrong people and losing credibility or worse a job. This can happen in men or women, young or old, but is most commonly seen in more extroverted personalities and it tends to blow up and blow out fast.
2) Apathy – This is a more dangerous reaction, since it can lead from distress to the early stages of depression. Stuffing emotions inside is like burying them alive and they just keep building up, yet instead of blowing up and out, they blow in. This leads a person to feel emotionally numb, and often can cause an individual to commit a series of very quiet, yet very harmful self-destructive acts. Eating for comfort, drinking to numb the pain, hooking up with the wrong partner to try and forget about the election or just refusing to answer the phone, closing the mini-blinds and checking out on life like a hermit hiding in a dark cave.
The best choice after an election is completed is Acceptance. It's over and now it's time to move on with whatever leaders and issues the majority of voters selected. You can't change the outcome of an election, but you can freak yourself out with fears about the future apocalypse predicted by many. Don't do that! Life will go on, and your world will continue. God is bigger than any politician and isn't in a panic, so trust in heaven's agenda and not that of Washington and you'll immediately find a deeper level of peace.
What happens in your house is way more important than what happens in the White House since you can't control what political leaders do, but you can control you. Let this journey off of the political 'mountain' be one of a growing sense of perspective as you remember that after the valley there will be another mountain to climb. There will be another day to vote on national issues and when the dust settles your life will usually be about as good as you choose to make it. This approach takes the power to control your mood away from the politicians or the media, so you can build a better life without losing sleep or energy from the dangers of post-election distress syndrome.

As per HH's request ...
Here's a couple pic's of inside my shop/office. Now, I've done a little sorting in the office since these were taken (an ongoing forever project). And added some supplement heat in here (the woodstove itself is in the next room). Other than that, it's still pretty much the same as you see here.
One of my favorite places to spend time ...

A couple of evenings ago (it would have been the evening of the 28th), I had one of those unique unexplainable experiences ... and it was so beautiful.
Late in the evening, not long before getting ready to go up to bed (this was hours yet before Tom would return from work), I sat down at the large table I have at the front of my shop/office where I receive company about my work or, in particular, it's where I receive visitors for ministry work. This table also serves as my study area for all my courses and especially for my own personal Bible-study and prayer time. Anyway, as I was walking by it, heading toward the living room to check the woodstove and dogs and all before going to bed, I felt this very specific yearning for me to sit down and open my Bible that was sitting on the table (this was my main study Bible which has 4 versions side-by-side on the pages).
I sat down and opened the Word and suddenly, yet so ever gently, this feeling/understanding came over me as I touched the pages. It was almost as if I was opening this wonderful Book for the very first time and like it was literally 'alive'. I mean it was so beautiful. The Word took on this essence of 'reality' that I've never reached before in all my years of study. Of course, nothing changed about it in a physical sense. But as I slowly touched the printed words, it was *real*, it had *life* itself within the pages ... I honestly don't know how to describe it.
I didn't specifically 'read' anything at the moment, just 'experienced' it. A few minutes later, I read the first 7 chapters of Revelation (in the Bible I keep by my bedside) before falling off to sleep; this had nothing to do with the "understanding" that had just occurred downstairs with my main study-Bible.
Why this happened? I'm not sure. I have to believe it has to do with my prayerful request of late for our Lord to grant me a closer relationship with Him, a better understanding of Him.
I am humbled before Him.
A couple of words spoken to me during prayertime ...
06-26-2000 "There is a Light shining, and it's coming to you. Beware of those/that which would attempt to snuff it! It is a divine light, glorified and pure ... It is true. Carry it, little one ... Carry it strong and high ... For I depend on you."
07-28-2000 Worship is the by-product of the intimate relationship with our Lord. Worship is *not* something that can be worked up or pretended. It is *not* an act/action/ritual to be *performed*! It *is* the full-submission/devotion of oneself *into* the life of another. It sprouts out of desire and grows into life-experience.
The prophecy #2 ...
I've experienced many different words of prophecy over my life and my calling over the years. Those I'm showing here are a couple of the most important ones ... important to me anyway.
01-28-1996: "You'll rise up with commanding power You'll command demons to flee In commanding power, you'll command diseases to die and to dry up. Hallelujah. See, I hear that for you too. Just caught up in this hearing ear thing. You shouldn't have just hungered for that when we were just talking about that. Hallelujah. The ear to hear what God is saying. That is for thee. Amen.
I hear also for you Gifts of the Spirit of God. Amen, to confirm the Word that you speak. See, you'll start speaking the Word and it becomes a delight to you. I see like a women's group. I see like circles. I see like speaking and teaching in circles. And then, all of a sudden, you'll sense a rising up of the Spirit of God. This is how it will start this year. It will quicken you and bring you to your feet. And, then, you'll start praying for this one and that. And it'll be oh, so neat. You'll go home and talk to Tom And you'll say, 'It was so wonderful tonight. God really moved. God really moved and I treasure His insight. And you'll just lift up your hands and start to thank God once again, That He moved through you as His servant, His handmaiden of the Lord. Hallelujah!
Thank you Lord God. I hear that for you. Glory to God, Spirit of God. Thank you for the anointing. Thank you Father God for the equipment that I need (meaning speaking as I would speak) *** There it is *** (meaning the divine anointing) I've got the equipment of God, you see. Hallelujah!
There's a togetherness also with Tom and you. As you minister, hallelujah, side by side. I see that too. Amen. I hear him starting off and speaking a bold statement. I hear the Word of the Lord coming out of him. And then, you'll follow and give explanation of what the Father has said. And then, he'll speak again and lift his voice. ANd it will be really strong and direct. And then, you'll rise up by his side and again give clarification to what the Spirit of God has said. That's how you'll work together.
(speaking then to the congregation) Isn't that powerful folks?! Whew, boy, I sense the power of God!
While sorting through some stuff ...
I came across something I'd actually forgotten I had written down.
I've already shared in the past here on LJ the visions Father has given to me. Now, I'll share a couple of prophecies spoken over me several years ago:
#1 This was spoken over me by my pastor of the church I was attending at the time and where I'd also attended ministerial school for my initial licensing. This is the word spoken over me at the time of our graduation. Note: as he would speak over different people, he would sometimes speak directly to the individual as God-inspired. At other times, he would speak to the congregation as all present would be including in the time of prophecy. The second part recorded here was spoken by his wife directly after he'd moved on to the next graduate. The first is recorded on tape. The second is not. But I did write it down This second portion was given by a woman who could not have remotely posibly known that I have an interest in collecting mice nor that this interest had begun as far back as during high school when my nickname was "Mouse". But Father always knows how to speak directly and on an intimately personal level where you just know that you know it's Him speaking.
08-14-1994 ... "See, it is the love that's in you that caused you not to fail, saith the Lord God. There's a love that's real clear. See, you know the Father by His Love; he that dwelleth in love, dwelleth in God. Hallelujah! But see, you're going to know God in a new vein in the days ahead. See, you're going to start sensing the Wisdom of God and the Knowledge of God. Because of your diligent study of the Word of God, things will start transpiring on the inside of you. When you get close to a person, the Word of Wisdom will rise up, the Word of Knowledge will rise up. It will come forth out of you like a sharp two-edged sword. And then they'll say unto you, 'How did you know this? Nobody could have known that'. And you'll simply say, 'In the Love of God; for surely the Lord God has revealed this unto me and I want you to serve Him as I have served Him'. See, you'll lead many to the Lord because the Spirit of God shows you things about men and the hearts of men will be laid bare. See, that's because you're desired that, saith the Lord. Is that true? Amen. That's because you're desired that. Hallelujah!
(speaking now to the congregation) Just reach out your hands to her. We just lay hands on her and bless her. Everybody say, "In the Name of Jesus, we believe the calling of God that is in you will rise forth in the days ahead to change people's hearts and to turn men towards lightness and away from darkness. In the Name of Jesus. Hallelujah!
(the second part)"Know that this is not small. Do not look at this as a mouse but as a lion. This is big and this is powerful, as a lion. And you are My lion!
I'll record the next prophecy in another post.
Wow! I like this ...

Oooo ... now this could be fun ...
Just checked the AccuWeather site I like for around here ... they're calling for the possibility of ***SNOW*** tonight around 11:00 PM and again tomorrow morning at around 8:00 AM!!!
Now, this obviously isn't going to be anything 'big' at this time of the year but, hey, if I see just a few snowflakes at this time, I'm THRILLED!!!
