Open Question: My orange Berlin doesn't recognise the micro SD card?
I have recently bought an orange berlin, and inserted the micro sd card from my old phone correctly.However the phone does not seem to recognise it as none of the music, pics etc show up. Also it won't let me update my music player from the memory card. When I connect the phone to my computer in USB mode (which uses the card), my computer won't open "My Computer" and just freezes. There is nothing wrong with the card as it worked perfectly well in my old phone, and my orange Berlin definitelyy uses micro SD cards. What should I do?

Open Question: Is Yahoo having sign-in problems again?
In the past week Yahoo has ceased to save my sign-in information so now I have to sign-in every time I want to enter my email site - even on my own computer! This is a nuisance and, since every online software manufacturer and service provider seems to have issued updates in the past month, I'm not sure what caused it.

I've retained an attorney for a case I have up coming. The attorney charges $200/hr. I haven't heard from him in a couple of days, and I was hoping to get an update on how the case was going, but I don't want to be charged an hourly rate for him to talk to me. Do lawyers charge for ANYTHING dealing with your case, including a phone call to update you?!

Right. My dad decided it would be a great idea to completely reformat the computer and reinstall XP and everything, and now i've got a whole load of problems.
-It refuses to update. It was reformatted early yesterday, but it hasn't run a single update.
-i can't go to the Microsoft website and manually download the important updates, because after i hit download i get a 'page cannot be displayed' notice.
-Internet explorer won't open. not a big deal for me because i use firefox, but my dad uses IE. when i try to open it i get a 'IE has encountered a problem and needs to close' notice. No page pops up or anything.

I have a couple of unsecured loans that were opened 8/1/2001 and 1 automobile loan that was opened 2/1/2001 and by law should have automatically dropped off of my credit reports after 7 years. They have not came off still and I just learned that because I disputed these as being wrong a few months ago and the creditors updated them as correct. Because of this it starts the whole 7 years over again. A credit repair place over the phone told me that whenever you dispute something and they report back that its correct or reviewed and updated that it will start the whole 7 year process over again. Is this true??

Open Question: how do I fix my bluetooth on my computer?
I have hp pavilion and it has blue-tooth capabilities installed on it. just recently it started giving me problems. I am able to send things, via blue-tooth, to my cellphone, but I cannot from my phone to the computer. The phone recognizes the computer but will not connect.

I have also went into the device manager, disabled the device then reinstalled it.
I've checked for updates, and could not find anything. I've been on vista's and hp's website searching for help, bc my warranty ran out.

i havent played runescape in like over a year, and when i came back there were all these updates and stuff, i had created a new character cuz i had forgot my old one's name and password... my smithing level is 15, but it wont let me smith chainbodies, kiteshields, or 2h words. when i got to the anvil with bronze bars i dont even have the option to make those? some1 help please

Well if you read my other posts i currently have a house guest, luckily it's only for two weeks as i cant handle it any longer then that and refuse to...so heres todays shpeel (yes its only 7 in the morning
) last night i specifically asked my guest what time she would be leaving the house today, she told me 7, then i asked ok so what time are you gettin gup? she told 6. I said, exact wording "ok good because i have to get up at 630 tomorrow, i have a meeting at 8, and i need to shower first" The reason i told her this is because i needed her to know i would need the shower as i usually shower at night. I guess i should have specifically asked her "what time do you plan on getting into the shower tomorrow because i have to shower at exactly 630" Because i woke up at 635 and low and behold she was in the shower!! Now i assumed that if she was going to be up at 6 and had to leave at 7 she would have showered when she got up, considering she has 3 little girls to get ready to go, so i peeked in and they were still sleeping, rather she woke up late or was doing other stuff i dont know. I just feel like if she woke up late she would have taken that into consieration considering i told her i was getting up at 630 and needed to shower before being to work..i also have 2 kids i have to get ready, so if she has to go through a process of getting up, showering, getting her kids fed ready and out the door, i would think she would take those into consideration for me as well....UGHJ!! I just feel like it was a no brainer when she got up late or whatever to make sure the shower was ready for me to use at 630, when i told her i was getting up and had to shower....am i wrong to assume that considering the conversation i had??? Should i have to talk to her and explain things to her like i would a little kid in my own house??? She is 23 for heavens sake!!!

Open Question: Where can I get a Direct3D driver for my Inspiron 6400?
I've installed several games on my laptop but I can't open them. They've installed correctly, but it comes up with an error saying that the Direct3D I have doesn't support the texture, shadows etc. I've been on the Dell site and I can't find any update of drivers, I've searched all over the net, no luck.
I have the latest version of Direct X and as far as I know, all my drivers are up to date. I noticed on some other forums that other people where having difficulties with wide-screens. Is this my problem and if so, what can I do to fix it?

Open Question: screen resolution problem?
so up till about 10 minutes ago my computer was working perfectly.
but i just bought a g15 keyboard and installed some little apps for it, then i go to play Team Fortress 2 to test one of these apps and the screen goes black. So i ctrl alt del out of it and load it up again.
This time it was way to big for the screen, and i couldn't change the aspect ratio in the settings which meant i couldn't set my monitor to it's best resolution of 1680x1050, and when i restarted my computer the monitor wouldn't even work.
Instead everything got loaded onto my secondary monitor(my sony bravia tv)
Why did this happen?? i've already tried updating the nvidia drives(with no success), what should i do??

Open Question: Will I lose data from my data drive (D:) if I recover the OS (Vista Home Premium) which is on C:?
Vista SP1 showed up on the Windows automatic update to automatically install. It failed, and went to startup repair which also failed. I force-shutdown the computer and then rebooted, which allowed me to boot into Windows again. The same thing happened again, 3 or 4 times and now my laptop (Dell Inspiron 1525) won't boot into Windows. I don't mind reinstalling the OS again. But I have just one question. I store all my data on another drive (D:). If I try to repair my system using the Windows Installation CD (that came with the laptop), am I going to lose all the data on D:?
There's an option called 'Restore PC to Factory Condition'. Will using this option erase the data on D: drive, since there was nothing in D: drive when I received the laptop? There is a recovery partition (E:) that I think will be used to restore the OS.
I don't mind doing anything to my computer as long as all my data on D: is safe and untouched. There's a lot of data there, and I can't back it up with my computer refusing to boot into Windows.

Open Question: Problem with iTunes??
I've had iTunes for almost 2 years now, did all the updates, bought lots of songs and now it's suddenly telling me that I cannot connect to the iTunes store. I've checked all of the settings on my computer and iTunes is listed as one of the exceptions to allow through the firewall, so I cannot figure out what the problem is. I haven't changed any of the security settings recently and I was always able to connect to the store prior to this; I've run all of the diagnostic tests from their help section and they always show my internet connection working properly, yet when I try to go to the iTunes store, it tells me to check my connection! Anyone??? I'm going crazy here!
This has been going on for about a month now but in the beginning I just assumed it was a problem with the router and would straighten itself out, which has not happened. I will try unplugging the router and see if that works.
